Trash & Recycling

Important Information from Waste Connections

Beginning with the April 1, 2022 fiscal year, the HOA Board of Directors renewed the Service Agreement with Waste Connections for the term of 60 months. This agreement guarantees an annual increase of no more than 4%, but can pass along any government mandated fees.

The mandatory fee for trash collection (Filing I & II only) is in addition to HOA Dues.
(NOTE: This does not pertain to homes in Filing III or their trash collection.)

Trash Totes/Containers:
Homeowner may provide container – equivalent to 96 gallons; and may also put out 4 additional bags or bundles or cans (bags or bundles preferred) of yard waste each week.

Each homeowner may call Customer Service at 303-288-2100 and request one 96-gallon (or 64-gallon, if available) Waste Connections container that will be provided free of charge. BUT, that container is the property of Waste Connections. If it is damaged by them, it will be replaced free of charge. If damaged by the owner or other entity and not by Waste Connections, there is a $50 charge for a new one and a $25 delivery fee. Waste Connections is more often using a robotic arm to pick up the trash cans and their containers are made to handle that device. That container should remain with the property when sold.

Homeowners may request a second container to use, but that will be charged $4/month to be billed directly to the homeowner.
